Video Creation Instructions

  • The judges need to see the full body at the piano for posture and pedaling, however it is most important to view the hands. The camera set at 3-4 feet from the piano at an angle that captures the full body including hands and feet is ideal for recording your video to upload.
  • The video must be recorded in one take. Please place a clock (analog preferred) somewhere in the shot while you play. This helps ensure it was recorded in one take. Make sure clock has hour, minute & second showing.
  • Please do not speak during the video, only play your music. (We want the judges judging based on your music, not your voice)
